Ukraine 2014. A boy runs around the front lines of the Maidan uprising. In his hand is a paving stone, his gaze is full of rage. This is how he suddenly becomes a face of the revolution. But behind the fearlessness hides a lonely street boy: Roma is only thirteen and has been neglected by his family and the state. Five years later, Roma comes of age and is back on the streets – without a chance of graduating, or finding accommodation or money. In his hometown of Jahotyn, he loiters around railroad tracks and underpasses, takes drugs, fights. But it was once his wish to get an education, to go to the US. Can he turn his life around?
