Seven more days until the execution. The electric chair is getting closer and closer for the condemned man. Meanwhile, the prison warden grants the two young film-makers Richard and Daniel an unprecedented insight as a favour, granting them access to death row. They secretly hide surveillance cameras and film the condemned man in his final hours – until the end. The recordings lead to a rift between Richard and Daniel. But then the footage is confiscated by the prison warden. It is only years later that it is returned into the hands of the two film-makers. And everyone has to ask themselves: is the execution of a human being in the name of justice right or wrong, and – in this film – is it even real?
