Application for the Youth Jury of the Human Rights Film Festival Berlin
As one of two selected applicants, you have the chance to become a member of the Youth Jury of the Human Rights Film Festival Berlin. The jury meetings will take place on October 14th and 15th. Together with the President of the Youth Jury, singer, actress and GPE Ambassador Alli Neumann, and GPE Youth Leader and actor, Jess Mukeba, you will watch and discuss the nominated documentaries and choose the - in your opinion - best one. On October 20th you will then honor the winning film at the award ceremony in Berlin.
Alli Neumann
Alli Neumann
In 2018, the alternative pop singer released her first EP (Hohes Fieber) shortly after the premiere of WACH, the film in which she got to play her first leading role. Her debut album (Madonna Whore Complex) was highly praised by critics. Also live on stage she could live out artistically in the last years. Whether at festivals or as a support act for bands like Coldplay. Alli proves on every stage that she is made to perform. She has been involved in social projects since the start of her career
The Youth Jury Award was initiated by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) and the Human Rights Film Festival Berlin to enable more participation of young generations in fundamental socio-political issues and to make their voices heard.
The Global Partnership for Education is a shared commitment to ending the world’s learning crisis. It mobilizes partners and funds to support nearly 90 lower-income countries to transform their education systems so that every girl and boy can get the quality education they need to reach their full potential and to contribute to building a better world.
