In India, where the news landscape is dominated by men, three women decide to launch the first woman-owned newspaper. They belong to the Dalit who used to be the lowest caste in India and continue to be marginalized in Hindu society. Chief Reporter Meera Devi and her female colleagues want to break with tradition. Armed with smartphones, they are breaking conventions, telling stories from within their own four walls and fighting corruption. They are redefining what it means to be powerful – also as women.
