Patricio is living through an unimaginable nightmare. He lost his daughter when she and her husband joined the IS in Syria, before they were both killed in combat in 2019. Now Patricio’s underaged grandchildren are stuck in a prison camp in the war-torn region as “children of the enemy.” The conditions are life-threatening: four to five children die in the camp each day. Governments remain inactive, leaving the children to their fate. Patricio has one mission: to get them out and bring them back to Sweden. So, he decides to travel to Erbil in northern Iraq on his own.
